Perfect for a Glock that shoots high
I really like my Glock 19 and 26 but found that they were shooting around 3" high at 20 feet with the issued sights. I tried the lowest plastic rear sight available and also the Glock adjustable rear at it's lowest setting with no success. I decided to try the last OEM option before buying pricey aftermarket sights and found the 6.1mm steel sight is exactly what I need. Even though the 6.1mm plastic sight is supposed to be the same height it is not, if you look carefully at the rear notch you will notice it does sit higher than the steel sight does. With this sight and the Glock steel front sight my pistols are right on the money at 20-25 feet, which is the distance I typically shoot. The steel sights also give a much cleaner sight picture than the original plastic sights, which can only help with accuracy. No, you don't need a sight pusher to install the rear. I file the sight dovetails as I do with all my other guns and they fit just fine. My only gripe is that these sights should come standard on all Glocks instead of the junky plastic sights.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
