This book was one of my favorite reads this year! It follows Aurora, now queen of Perceforest and the Moors, as she attempts to bring about peace between the humans and the faeries. It also helps to bridge the gap between Aurora and Phillip's new relationship in Maleficent and their happy engagement in Mistress of Evil. Maleficent and Aurora's relationship is explored as well, building on the mother daughter bond they formed in Maleficent. And of course, there is a mystery to solve involving a missing boy which if not dealt with has the potential to destroy everything Aurora is trying to accomplish. I finished this book within a day of getting it! I couldn't hardly put it down!
