Tom Jones is still the BOMB!
Tom describes his personal life and singing career from his earliest days with refreshing candor. His love story with Linda is so beautiful, and I probably enjoyed that part of the autobiography the most. It was interesting to learn how much hard work goes into being a Vegas performer. Jones really is all about the music even though he admits to enjoying the fame and affluence that have come with his career. He has not let the trappings of his success take away from his love of singing and performing. I have been listening to his music since I was a little kid, so I was very excited to read his book. If you are a Tom Jones life long fanatic like I am, then, you'll enjoy this book, Tom's narrative gives us a portal first seat view, to his place of birth in Pontypridd to growing up more often than not poor and jobless, to his rise to fame, fortune and family life, fans and meeting Elvis Aron Presley for the first time, there's a lot to like here. For the inquisitive mind who's hoping to peek into Tom's secret peccadillos regarding groupies (beautiful women) he bedded typically up to 250 of them a year, you won't read that here, Tom didn't think it was important to print that private part of his life.
