Incredible headphones for the price!
The Monolith M1070's are absolutley wonderful. The sound they products is very rich and full and as planars they are every bit as accurate just as you would expect them to be. They are just really great headphones all the way around. They are very large, over-the-ear headphones, so you have to be ready for that, but they are quite comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I really like them a lot and I'm very glad I chose them. If you are looking for a really nice, audiophile-level pair of headphones that can easily be driven by just about any source, you are going to be hard pressed to find a better value than these. I run them primarily off of my PC using the AudioQuest DragonFly Black DAC/Amp and they sound terrific through it. You can spend 10x this much or more on much higher-end headphones, of course, but once you get a chance to give these a listen, you'll know how unnecessary doing that actually is. Bang-for-the buck, the M1070's are almost impossible to beat.

Amazing sound, heavy, but confortable
These headphones sound amazing. They are relatively comfortable although they are large and heavy. Some people might find it too heavy for long listening session but I'm OK with that. The sound is awesome, very clear with smooth mid range and powerful bass. It refined and.ot sloppy. Treble is pronounced especially at the upper mid range, you get this bump which can be somewhat aggressive at times. But overall amazing sound and comfort. Big luxurious ear pads. I'm happy with it.

Dark planar + treble EQ = Edition XS sound
It’s heavy but feels lighter than M1060C. It’s definitely a dark sounding planar. With some treble EQ it can sound like a Hifiman Edition XS. 👍 They only sound good with the Suade pads.
