These are awesome flashlights you can put in a shirt pocket. I am a diesel technician and use them every day in the shop. The 2, AAA size batteries actually last quite a while in these lights. Using them on and off all day, I might change batteries once a week. I also use them outside the house at night and during bonfires. They will light up my backyard easily. They are made of aluminum and take a beating.

I’ve been using these particular lights for several years, they are very bright and handy to have in your pocket. The price is very reasonable and the lights seem to hold up to normal use and/or abuse. The only problem that I’ve had with the lights is sometimes you have to find a “sweet spot” when tightening the threaded tube assembly that compresses the battery contact springs. A minor adjustment in or out usually solves the problem. Overall, I really like the light and would recommend it.

I've carried these since they first come out. Have lost a couple but never had one fail. The newer ones are a little brighter but the batteries don't last as long. Only complaint is, these weren't made 30 years ago.

Very happy, the only negative is when first unpacked, the color coating prevented the battery/switch from making good contact. The light would turn on until the battery cover was fully engaged. A little elbow grease and some steel wool on the threads cured that. An excellent light using only 2 AAA's is what I wanted and got. I use rechargeable batteries and performance and ease of carrying in pocket is perfect.

I find it more practical to acquire/provide a common battery such as the triple-A than to rely on a charging source. Batteries are also much quicker than charging - no question there. The light itself is 90 lumens which is perfect for my needs. I think the battery life is 6.5 hours, which is suitable for my needs - between battery changes. The tail button can be used for signaling, in momemtery mode, or pushed and clicked on/off. My only complaint would be that this button is a little hard to press but this is not a deal-breaker. The clip seems very tight and strong, and secures the light to my shirt pocket with no problems. These lights come in various colors. I chose blue, and it is beautifully anodized. Overall, I would recommend the Streamlight Stylus Pro as a basic bright pen light for general use. It is _not_ a flame-thrower. If you desire a hot-potato that will blind you then this is not for you :) Read full review
