At first inspection this dog house did not seem very strong but this change as each piece was added to the other. It was very easy to put together and required no tools which was great. Once it was together it was much more impressive than I was expecting at the price point it was at and was pretty good for what it is. I bought it for my new Rottweiler puppy which is about 60 pounds and to me this looks more closer to the weight limit than the stated 100 pounds in the description I would say it looks like it can hold 70 - 80 pound dogs but space is limited, and as for me I like my pets to be comfortable so to someone else maybe a 100 pound dog is doable. The looks are very clean and should blend in to any décor and maintenance is easy as it is made completely of plastic and washes off with no problems. I have only owned it for a very short time so I can not speak to the dependability of this house but it appears that it should last until my dog out grows it which is what I was hoping for. I would say if you looking for a dog house this one will not disappoint. Read full review

The dog house is large for a dog up to 100 lbs. But to advertise it as an XXL Dog Shelter is far from the truth. My dog is 120 lb. 9 mo. old puppy and he has difficulty getting his shoulders into the opening. I am not sending it back because I can't afford to. I will let the cats occupy it if cats use doghouses.

This doghouse was a great deal, I just wish my 95 pound puppy wouldn’t chew on it...but, he chews on EVERYTHING, so no problem with the house, problem is with the dog! It’s plenty big, he just won’t go in. Again, only problem is with my goofy dog! Assembly was easy, and it’s sturdier than I would have imagined. If you have a normal pony-sized dog, this is the house for you!

Excellent size for a large labrador. Also, my 14-year-old 5ft plus granddaughter was able to get inside with a flashlight and I looked for cracks or openings but their none. Since this is permanent for outside use I would re-enforce the bottom with a piece of plywood and add some foaming material for insulation during winter. I'm very conscientious about the welfare of my animals. I usually keep most of them inside. Great product overall!

True to size, our dog fits in it very well. Was easy to put together. One think I might add is she don’t like the plastic on the front, it lets water inside when it rains. We just removed them.
