Penn vs Sargosa
I purchased this reel. It doesnt really feel smooth i have yet to try this on water.. The gold handle is too big so i switched it for the eva knob it comes with.. You can switch the reel by using a Quarter on the line the knob has btw.. In all honesty i bet the saragosa is a better reel because i have had quality reels and this reel is not as smooth like a shimano reel it feels like a penn fierce but its "supposed" to put out 40 pound of drag so yeah .. Solid with great features
This reel has an awesome drag system and sealed as well as the main gear housing. Very stout bail as well. I replaced 3 reels of different brands last trip 3000 miles south and felt a little helpless having such useless gear. The only one that held up was my 52 year old Mitchell Garcia 402.
