The 3500 is better then the 2500 by far.
The 3500 watt unit i purchased a number of years ago continues to work fine. However i'm totally disappointed in the two 2500 watt units that lasted 18 months and 8 months. As you see i have now purchased 4 of this brand of inverters in hopes i could somehow repair the faulty ones. I can only pray this second 3500 watt unit holds up like that other first one. It does have some difficulty starting certain devices at times but overall is a decent unit. Nothing to brag about but it does seem to usually start the washing machine. I only wish they would come in and fix those other two inverters that did not last.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value for the $, but comes with caveats.
You couldn't touch a sine wave inverter like this for less than $2,000 ten years ago anywhere. Now they are abundant @ the sub $500 price barrier. But these Chinese versions are a bit quirky. They are over rated for one. Take at least 20% off the top of anything they say about them. Mine is working, but have not ran it anywhere near it's max power. I figure about 2400 watts would be about max continuously. If you try to connect it to your house breaker box and ground, it will blow up! There is a floating neutral wire that will short it out when grounded. It emits some RFI that can interfere with AM radios and other radio equipment. The output voltage is not that stable. Can go from a low of 101 to 126 volts AC depending on load and battery voltage. It can start and run a small window AC unit ok or an electric burner. It may be worth $340.00 but you don't get same results as from the $1,000+ big name brand units.
