The best kettle ever. This kettle is made of stainless steel. It is made like a cup looks inside. The electric element that heats up the water is outside underneath the bottom. So, that means no terrible fakes will develop over time. The top opens up enough for cleaning it. Heats up as quickly as any other kettle. The key word is "Stainless Steel" and that's the best type of kettle. A surgeon's instruments are also made of stainless steel. Buy stainless steel products like frying pans for safe healthy cooking. Nearly good
I already have a 1.7 literation water boiler that is very similar, except it is heavier gauge, cooler blue lights but we wanted something good smaller for travel. The hamilton beach is smaller, but I worry that it may be a bit flimsy for travel. This item really heats up a full pot of water FAST!! I love that it turns off automatically when the water has come to a boil. The bottom stand also has a nice feature where you can coil the cord up into it so you don't have extra cord length looking messy on counter top. For this price, this is a great deal! Thrilled with this kettle!
I love this kettle so much! I own another brand that works okay but this one is faster and easier to fill. It has only a 1 liter capacity but if that is all you need- this is an excellent choice! Just the best
Lightning fast boil/ Easy fill, easy pour. Just bought my third one (second one was a gift for my daughter). First lasted 10 years and only half died because of occasional user error, viz. hitting the switch when the kettle was very low or empty by accident. This *eventually* affected the hinge at the top. Should have bought it long ago!
We absolutely love our new electric kettle. It has cut down use of our microwave for making a cup of tea when we want just one or two at a time. We bought the smaller one because 99% of the time there are just two of us at home. If we have company, it heats the water so fast, it's not an issue that it is smaller capacity. make sure you situate the cord correctly!
