Seems well made enough but the instructions were next to worthless. What was helpful was going on a site that had the instructions for the OEM installation. The kit was partially assembled but the aluminum cross pieces were not actually long enough - there was a way to adjust this but that info was not mentioned anywhere.

The instructions were basically worthless and some of the parts were malformed. It looks as though one of the base plates is a failed 3D print. None of the provided security caps to protect the hardware were made for the set. I had to make major modifications to each rack for it to be functional, I have this capability but most people do not.

So, right out of the box the instructions aren’t really helpful. There really is no words on it other than the brand. The pictures kind of give you an idea what to do. Thankfully I’m great at puzzles and reading pictures, haha. Anyways, besides that the construction is pretty decent. It’s a cheap white paint or something. I don’t really care that much. I understand it’s not a $400 system. For the $99 price tag I’m happy with the product overall. Took about 30-40 mins to install. Feels solid, but I haven’t driven with it on yet nor have I had any weight on it yet. That comes next week. Once I’ve don’t some testing I will update my review.

Ordered on Friday, arrived on Monday with emails from both the seller and eBay. Customer email provided USPS tracking number. Everything seems like pretty decent quality. Aluminum bars with plastic end caps. 2 of the bolts seemed to be a little difficult to start threading although that could have been due to the Kia holes and not the bolts themselves. My only gripe about quality is the end cap covers. They are pretty flimsy and although I don't anticipate my crossbars being stolen the covers would only stop an honest thief. Installation was not difficult and took about 30 minutes and I did it myself with the tools provided. The directions were not terribly clear as you only get a little 4 page pamphlet with some pictures of it being installed on a vehicle printed on printer paper and no indication on how tight the bolts are supposed to be. It's not a complex thing so it's pretty easy to figure out but I could see someone not very mechanically inclined having a difficult time. I will be using these to transport a kayak so we'll see how they hold up under use but overall they seem pretty decent and at almost $200 less than what Kia wanted and the fact I got them in 3 days I really can't complain.Read full review

Never in my life have I ever bought anything that didn't have adequate installation instructions................until now! This would be a great purchase for rocket scientists and engineers. But this is like trying to figure out a rubics cube. There are no online installation instructions to be found. No YouTube videos, either.

They seem sturdy enough. The instructions are terrible so it took me longer to install than it should have. It's pictures only but not enough pictures. I ended up Googling the internet for help.

instruction pamphlet needs to be better. Low quality images, no directions on to do step by step.

The product is of good quality and for a good price. The only downside is that it is hard to attach to the vehicle. When attaching the bar to the car, the screw had to be aligned and angled perfectly while you have no visibility of the screw.

Effective. Took a while to assemble as directions were mostly useless. And the kit did NOT include the hex-wrench you need for the screws and bolts, fyi. So, glad I had those in hand. Otherwise as good as factory and I saved $300 versus the dealer.

It’s an okay quality but I don’t have another roof rack to compare it to. That being said... it was ~$100 and it was pretty easy to put on for the most part. And it works for what I need it for do all in all I’d say it’s pretty good value for the price
