    Great oil pump

    If tearing down engine to do timing chains, it is a no brainer to install this pump. Increased the oil flow to the engine and my engine has never been this quiet. Many videos on line about this pump and how to (fairly easily) install it. Just be sure to acquire an 8mm ratcheting combination wrench to get to the pickup bolts. I heated my wrench and bent / increased the angle of the ratcheting head and it worked perfectly. Also pre-lubed mine with assembly lube and clean oil before installation and pulled between 65 and 70 psi when cranking, after 3-4 seconds, with no spark plugs in. Cranked another 10 seconds to prime engine, prior to initial startup after chain / cam phaser job. A huge improvement over the OEM pump.

    This is a must oil pump upgrade if you are working on repairing your top/front end for your 5.4 3v engine! Provides better oil flow than stock and doesn't have a flexing backing plate like stock.
