The cost of this cylinder was less than repairing my old cylinder. Overall good value.
The cylinder received was exactly what I ordered as to size and shape. The only disappointment was that the cylinder push rod was not chromed. Therefore, I must keep the cylinder closed in order to prevent the rod from rusting and pitting. Any future rust spot on the rod will cause cutting or tearing of the seals causing a future leak. In the advertisement, I thought it was a very high quality cylinder. It may be high quality seals however without a chrome rod one cannot leave the cylinder open to the weather like a high quality chrome cylinder rod. I would buy from this vendor again. The cylinder fit was perfect for my replacement application. The pins came with retaining clips however the pins were just polished steel too and will rust once the weather attacks them. The pins did not have grease fittings to be able to lube the contact points. Overall, happy with the purchase. Delivery of the product came on the very last day at 4:00 p.m. as promised.
