Poor gas cap design.
B&S must have a homeless engineer working on gas cap design. The internally threaded, plastic tethered cap is a joke. Mine falls off frequently and when lost has to be replaced with the most expensive cap in the industry. Why did Briggs and Stratton do this ??
These caps come off too easily. That strap may be the main culprit. I had a push mower for ten years and never replaced the gas cap. I bought a new mower last summer and have replaced two so far. Briggs needs to go back to their old design.......Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
