It works as expected on my Fujifilm XT-20 and is a lot cheaper than the Fuji vesion so it represents good value for the money. Being made of plastic it is not especially durable but should last if treated with care.
A shutter release is an invaluable tool in my photography, which often involves longer exposures. It is important, then, that this tool functions as it is supposed to, when it is supposed to; so far, this Promaster release has met my expectations. Since it's appreciably less expensive than its Fuji counterpart, the RR-90, it represents good value, but there is one knock against it: As packaged, the cable does not connect to my X-T3 and I had to order a 2.5mm-to-2.5mm cable to correct this shortcoming. This small added expense was an inconvenience and not a full-fledged failure, but it should have been avoided.
