I was hoping for a fully wide banded radio. But what I got was a HF/ with restricted bands on 2 meters and 70 cm.
The radio works great on HF, but the vhf and uhf bands are restricted. The vhf band will not go into or above 146mhz, and the Uhf will only work on 443 MHz. I will be only using this radio on HF and Winlink frequencies. I went ahead and bought the FT-991A because I needed vhf and uhf.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
