I was a little hesitant to order the GFCI breaker on eBay, because most sellers won't accept returns, but this breaker arrived in a sealed package, and worked great, even though working with #6 wire was not easy, and I even used underground wire, which was only slightly more expensive, for the benefit of the added insulation, which is better for high amperage charging stations, but if I had it to do over, I would probably just use the 6/3 Romex, which is easier to handle. I don't think most people give much thought to charging an EV, but a quality GFCI breaker, a high quality NEMA 14-50 receptacle, and high quality copper is a must, unless it is direct wired, which I wouldn't advise, and I recently asked a dealer how many people, to whom he had sold EV's, had the infrastructure in their home to charge them, and his answer was "NONE", which says a lot about the mentality of many Americans, who are convinced that CO2 is destroying the earth, when plants require CO2 to live and grow.
