The Yamaha APX600 thinline cutaway acoustic-electric guitar combines incredible comfort, easy, top-fret access and an incredible sound ready for all stages in your life. It features a distinct oval soundhole for thicker lower-mid response and a more attention-getting low end, with a sweet abalone rosette to perfectly complement it. It is constructed from a combination of spruce top and nato body with a gloss finish and a locally sourced tropical tonewood for the neck as well as a rosewood fingerboard and bridge. This upgraded APX600 features a unique undersaddle piezo pickup, the Yamaha proprietary SRT transducer.

Great guitar at a very reasonable price
I was looking for an inexpensive guitar to leave at the beach. This one delivers more and looks and plays right out of the box like a much more pricey instrument. Built in tuner is a bonus and is very accurate. Also sounds very good through an amp! It's no Martin but I'm very happy with it.

Yamaha APX600
A little over 20 years ago I owned a Yamaha APX4. It was a good little guitar, but I paid $300 for it used. My new Yamaha APX600, which I bought fo $269 new, is head and shoulders above the APX4. Blew me away! Very solid guitar. It has a beautiful finish, plays like butter, has solid tuners and hardware, and sounds great! I have a solid mahogany Guild acoustic that I love. For years now, most of the guitar work I do has been on my Telecaster or Les Paul, and occasionally playing my Guild is painful for a whole gig. Great quality guitar for a fantastic price
Fantastic acoustic guitar that you can plug into an amp if you want but it is great on its own. Build in tuner is very handy. Comfortable to play either standing or sitting. Violin sunburst color and finish is perfect with no flaws. Yamaha did this right.
