Disappointed
The pump arrived in good time and from all appearances seemed very good. Wasn't until I actually put the pump in operation that I realized that something was not right. Although I discovered that it was the way the pump was designed that it acted as it did. The pump switch that controls the water level is a micro switch and the travel for the switch to turn on and then off is so small that it only drops the water level about 1/2" and therefore the pump starts and stops every 2 - 3 minutes. although the pumps functions okay, the frequent starting and stopping is annoying and the sound can be heard in my living room and the pump is in my basement. This information wasn't included in the advertisement. My old pump had two switches to control the off and on function and only ran about every ten minutes or so.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
