Where do I begin.....O.o *UPDATE with PICS* 02/15/19
PHOTOS are of install and of the new part rusting within this time frame between reviews and last photo is of factory part it replaced!
The old P.O.S. 05 Ram 1500 hemi 4wd laramie quad cab Steering upper and lower steering intermediate shafts were a nightmare to get off but hey, atleast it wasnt coming off anytime soon so good on you dodge. Factory upper and lower were pushing 350 for the set all together on Ebay and you had to convert to the 2wd setup to fit 4wd by changing parts using the numbers in 1444AD for the something something yeah yeah bull$#!t amirite? See? So much stress to assemble the stock unit which "doesnt fit" or "back ordered". I'm telling you factory parts will work if you buy only the lower and uppers that fit together and buy them new. They will fit to the rack and the steering wheel either way but you'll overpay. I used this setup and man it went on like Adam and eve at that apple tree. Or orange tree but who knows, no one that's who. It slid on both ends like a lonely island music video. Tightened the smart locking nut with that silver heavy duty bolt and no this isnt sponsered review lmao. So you tighten the Allen key screws once you set the shaft into place and then tighten the 13mm nuts to lock it into place. The shaft telescopes and it's super stiff and now I can drive with no hands again! JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL! Jk but seriously well done for an ez chris breezy with no Rihanna cheesy install and now it's time to blow my motor doing donuts :)
Update as of 2-15-19: steering still turns beautifully for now overall but the part itself has surface rusted beyond anything in a matter of no time. Look at the date of original post and now. So it should be rust bathed where applicable and coated but for now it's working still!
