An exact replacement for the factory switch and it was delivered very quickly.
This is the exact oem replacement switch which was made by JD so installing it was a breeze it works like it should and it came with a key! How awesome is that? Now I wish that I had checked my mower before I ordered it my mower has one more terminal on it than this one has. It is for the electric clutch, which many mowers of this size do not have. I just wish that I would have checked my mower before I ordered the new switch. Of course this is a minor issue as all I need to do is run a fused line from the battery to the switch for the clutch and I will be all set. Nice part.
Replaced the original switch in seconds and it worked fine. It is not a direct replacement as the original is larger in diameter where it goes thru and has a "flat" that maintains it's orientation. The replacement switch is more "universal" with a smaller diameter threaded portion so it will rotate to any position once in place. You just put it where you want it to be and tighten up the retaining nut and good to go...no worries.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
