OEM carb for my 2003 recon
Replaced the original carb from 2003 on my recon, which was giving us grief and had been tinkered with too many times. Fit perfectly, hardest part was the throttle cap and cable, I’d recommend a new one so you don’t have to try removing the original cable from the original carb cap, it’s not fun. OEM parts are the only way to go for this stuff though. Very happy and run’s perfect again. Added some new fuel lines and a filter, and also changed the petcock on the tank. Works perfectly with one small modification for my 98 TRX250
Brought my old 98 recon back to life! I tried one of the cheap Chinese made carbs and never was able to get it to idle. Put this on and it runs better than it did when it was new. My recon had trouble idling without being choked. I tried adjusting the previous carburetor, which I suspect was a cheap replacement, and could never get it right.
