A more modern, stable and safer steering system bt far!!!!

I removed the "upgrade" rack and pinion system from my 77 vette to put this box in.
The geometry of the rack on my C3 vette was not ideal. The Borgeson box was a definite upgrade. The feel is better, the tight turning radius is back, the resistance feels more appropriate for freeway speed, and installation was a breeze. I did, however get adapters for the fluid line ends so I didn't have the fuss of the brass inserts and potential leakage. No problems, works great. I should note that I used the outer (manual steering) holes for my tie rod ends to slightly reduce the quick ratio and make it more easily manageable at higher speeds. Great Corvette upgrade!

Corvette steering upgrade

Nice upgrade
Install wasn't difficult on a small block, nothing unexpected, but like most installations there are some modifications because this is a bigger box than stock. My header tube, 1 7/8 Kooks . needed a little indentation to have enough clearance.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
