I have the older wood type cabinet pevey speakers in our church that weigh 35lbs. these are more than enough for the job but better safe than sorry. I love the ability to adjust the angle to what is needed to cover the room in sound. I put up 2x4 braces between the studs to mount them to. i used 1/4 by 4 inch bolts to mount the braces to the studs and used 1/4 by 2 bolts instead of the screws that where supplied to mount the brackets to the braces. if you have the newer poly type cabinet speakers that weigh less than 20lbs I would use the supplied hardware for mounting. this is a GREAT product for a GREAT price.

These wall mount speaker stands are super heavy duty. They also allow you to tip the speaker downward in several steps. Very stable construction and easy installation. I did not use the supplied lag bolts and used sheet rock screws into wooden beams. Super price and speedy delivery.

Easy to install, and with a little bit of work, I was able to dial in my room and get the speakers off of the floor.
