Great replacement fan assembly

Sounds better, works better, now maybe another 20 years?
This part arrived promptly and in new condition. It fits the old Broan 696d. The parts list on the website was a big help. It was specific to the 696d model. I'm glad we could locate this assembly for a 20+ year old fan because we would have had to deal with replacing the whole thing and fitting it into the same opening. Enjoying the relative quiet new motor vs the old loud growling one.

Bent bracket
Fan mounting bracket was bent causing fan to rub on housing. Rather than trying to fix it I just reused the old mounting bracket. This defect should have been noticed in quality control inspection prior to packaging
