The real deal
This is a great deal for the money. Original unopened Fender package. This bridge has vintage stamped "Fender" saddles and original full-sized (not shaved down to nothing) tremolo block (huge sustain boost) and is all ready to bolt in. Magically somehow I had near perfect intonation with no adjustments, pure luck I'm sure. A few adjustments in saddle heights and off she went. Note- since it has a fatter block, the inner block area may require routing 1/4" more out to accomodate full swing of the whammy. Try it first. You will see if it's necessary or not right away. Real American and most MIM Standard Strats already have the room, Squire's and other brands may not. It is totally worth the effort. Now it sounds a lot more like my '57 Fullerton Strat reissue I have played a thousand times since 1983, which of course came with this fat block in it. I am thrilled!! Great Upgrade For Squire Affinity
The Saddle fits perfectly on a Squire Affinity Series. Much higher quality than the original. However, the block is a few mm to big to allow the rear cover to be put back on. There are block options out there for Affinities that fit this saddle. This is worth the price even if you don't use the block that comes with it. I have a MIM Strat that has a half block I will be replacing with the one from this purchase so it worked out perfectly for me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Big Block Trem for Mex Strat
The Big block trem is exactly what they describe. It has a full-sized Fender U.S.-style tremolo block mounted to a bridge that has correct screw and string spacing for the Mexican Fender guitars. Mounts to the body of a Mex Strat with no issues. Since the block is larger, the range of the tremolo is smaller unless the body is routed to give the tremolo block more room to move. Not a problem for me, since I don't "dive bomb" the tremolo, but some players may find it an issue. Overall great product, exactly what I wanted.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
