Avoid severe acid reflux
Most vitamin C causes acid reflux. By buffering, this vitamin C does not. I take two 500mg per day. 1 pill in AM and 1 in PM. Watch out, read article by doctor that says any more than 500mg at once will be urinated out. 1000mg pills do no good. These 500mg capsules are just right size. No coughing from acid fumes coming up throat or odd mustardy acid taste in mouth. Still get occasional canker sore, solution not perfect yet. Battling Lyme.
