The Lowdown on the bass drum riser
It’s sturdy,small, easily transportable, and will last forever. The only improvement I’d make is with the Allen screws used to attach it to the bass drum rim. Square drum lug screws or bigger wing top screws would be better. It’s not practical having to keep an Allen wrench handy to install and remove it each time you set up or tear down. Solid riser with one flaw
This is a sturdy adjustable riser bracket with the only negative being that the allen screws which secure it to the wood hoop dig in and mar the finish. I used a Pearl stainless steel hoop protector to prevent it from ruining my hoop but it’s been a long time issue that really should be corrected by Gibraltar.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
