I have owned this water heater for going on 6 years. This water heater is incredibly simple and would probably be just fine if it was heating water for one source like a farm, but it is not suitable as a whole house water heater as it is advertised. The problem is different faucets have different flow rates. For example, the kitchen sink is 1.75 GPM. The bath tub is 7 GPM. The washing machine is 2 GPM. The water heater is not able to adjust the temperature to the desired setting when the flow rate changes. This is a huge problem because the setting might be great for a shower, but when you turn the bathtub on, the water heater can't keep up and you get an ice cold bath. Or if you lower the output flow too much, you get scalded! I have contacted the distrubtor about this. Their proposed solution is to remove all the water restrictors out of all the faucets. I don't want to do this because the water restrictors save water, and where I live, water is very expensive. This unit is a pass. Spend a little more money and buy a better quality unit.Read full review

Works great and good value. The fittings for water/gas are metric but the unit comes with three adapters to convert metric to NPT. I really like that.
