  • A lot of tall skinny knobby for your money

These work great on full size vintage 4x4s when you want the old look but not the $400 per tire price tag of the vintage look alike tires. They are a wee bit loud on the road but not bad. They only last 15-18k mi. These weigh a LOT less than wider tires in this diameter so fuel mileage is surprisingly good. Amazing off road in east coast soft ground trail conditions. Air down and go off-road nicely for such a well mannered tire on the street. 8ply is a lil stiffer than some others, but I’m lugging around a big heavy diesel so it’s worth it.

  • Better than expected

All 4 arrived together, were made in the last 6 months, balanced out easily, have very little run-out, and run as true and smooth as any tire this size that I’ve seen. They are also not very noisy for as aggressive as they are. If they wear well I’ll have zero complaints as the four are good looking tires running as duals on my old 6x6 truck. Now let’s see if they like to work and maybe play a little. I think they will be great. 👍

  • Snow Stud size 15mm required

Maxxis does not mold stud size on side wall. Always measure your tire stud dimple, one brand molded wrong stud size. Tread pattern is good for unpaved rd with snow or mud and still balance out good at 70mph+ Best; Marc

  • Bighorn maxxis MT 255/85/16

Good tire with soft enough rubber to perform well in mud. Fairly noisy and wears out about 20k miles on 1999 F150. Second set and it suits my needs.

  • Great tires!

These are great tires! I have ran these for years and now my husband and father in law are running them on their trucks! They are very aggressive and have low road noise for how aggressive they are. They also ride well and don't road walk like some other brands do.
