Created by Disney and Pixar as a sequel cartoon, "Cars 2" offers a new adventure for the beloved characters of the first film. Back in the peaceful town of Radiator Springs, Lightning McQueen has just finished racing and plans to settle down for a while. However, he cannot when he gets involved in a cross-country road race with Mater at his side. "Cars 2" includes a spoof type version of James Bond films set all over the world and plenty of family-friendly action. Returning for their same roles to "Cars 2" include Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, and Bonnie Hunt. This 2-disc set includes both the DVD version and the Blu-ray version of the movie. Features included on the 2-disc cartoon set are two short cartoons: Hawaiian Vacation and Air Mater. Additionally, the 2-disc set includes a commentary by the director of the film that can be played along with the movie.
This was a great movie follow up to the original.
It has a good story line and characters that hold the child's interest.
It is a little advanced for a young child's understanding. Older kids will understand
the story line better. Holds your attention from the start.
Another great offering from Disney.
My 2 1/2 heart old son was so engrossed (but he does love cars) he didn't move from his seat and even though he's potty trained, he wet himself. We even asked him during the movie if he needed to go potty. Hahaha!
Great movie for kids, Great picture quality, If you already own Cars, you should be also getting this one, I think Cars its even better than this one, but the landscape and different places where the story takes places are just amazing and creative, It puts kids imagination to want to travel to different places.
This was a great family film. The whole family was excited when we found out that there was a sequel coming out. I still enjoyed the first one better but this was a lot of good car races and they did a wonderful job on the animation. I did find it had more adult scenes in it, then the other (cars dying, guns, and violence) but it wasn't that bad and the kids hardly noticed it. I would recommend this for any family. Good Pixar entertainment.
