It's a nice little camera. The touch screen is really cool. Takes great outdoor shots; flash shots tend to look "hot." But for the price, this is a great camera.

When I received this camera, I put a good battery and picture card in it. It DID NOT work. It made a noise like it was taking a picture, then shut it`self off. The lens cover never opened. I tried a different battery. It did the same thing. I will probably not buy anymore used cameras.

I hate this camera for one reason. No matter what setting I put it on the flash ALWAYS fires twice! Normally, I suppose that would be fine. But with a 14 month old, by the time the picture gets taken with the second flash, his eyes are closed. I miss out on a lot of great pictures because of this. My old camera had a flash setting where it would fire once and that was great! I got great pictures out of that for years, until the screen went out. Luckily I bought my Sanyo from a pawn shop and only paid 40 dollars for it. My old camera went out right before my sons first birthday and had to get something quick. But I will be getting a new camera as soon as I can and do some research to make sure I can have a flash that won't blind my son. Even the orange flash charging light will make him close his eyes. Other than that, the camera takes fairly clear pictures as long as the flash is on (or you're outside). I can clearly see my sons eyes are closed, that is.Read full review
I have a few digital cameras. I have another, a Sanyo VPC-T1496 an a Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W730 I like this one the best. Its touch screen allows you to magnify and to zoom in on parts of your new pictures with its touch screen. Doing it this way is smoother than using the buttons to review your pics on the VPC-T1496. This one also takes audio only if you want to record something, but save on memory space. The Sony Cyber Shot also uses about 6Mb per still pic where the Sanyos use use between 1 and 3 Mb per pic. That might be important if you have a lot of pictures in your folders.
It's a great camera! the picture quality is super clear, very light weight and small to carry in your purse or bag, touch screen is fun though i do need to get use to lol.
