very good, lots of detailed information about Lincoln, Grant and other aspects of the Civil War. Lots of detail on not only Lincoln but also the war, so you gain knowledge of what was going on around Lincoln and the weight he bore making decisions. This wan't just about the assassination. I got this book as an audio book. which I very much enjoy. It was read by Bill O'Reilly, himself. He did a very good job, and I only had one issue with it. He spoke many times of the cavalry, which he mispronounced as Calvary, which has a very different meaning, of course.
