If you are seeking a desktop computer that is suitable for both business and personal use, the Mac Pro A1289 from Apple is a solid choice. This Apple Mac is a high-performing machine that offers the benefits of speed, efficiency, and connectivity in one system. This MacPro also supports complex graphics for games and video, allowing you to use this computer for entertainment as well as business. The Mac Pro series of desktops from Apple are especially good for business functionality, and they are great for gaming and home use too. The Mac Pro A1289 features an eight-core processor setup that consists of two quad-core Intel Xeon processors that run up to 2.26 GHz each. The Xeon Quad processor is capable of a 2.53 GHz turbo boost for extra speed. It also supports "hyper threading," which lets you run multiple different threads at the same time on each core. This provides incredible speed and efficiency, allowing you to operate multiple functions at once or have multiple tabs open without your computer lagging. The Intel CPU is paired with 6GB of SD DDR3 ECC RAM operating at 1066 MHz and a hard drive consisting of 500GB of HDD memory plus 256GB of SSD memory. You will experience amazing graphics with the AMD Radeon HD 5770 GPU that has a graphics memory of 1GB. The GPU also contributes to speed while preventing video processes from slowing or crashing your computer. The equipped optical drive is an 18x dual-layer Super Drive. The hardware is supported by the Mac OS operating system, which has an efficient interface and a user-friendly feel. This model of Mac also allows for ample connectivity with a number of ports and connections available. There are five USB ports total and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. The designers at Apple have eliminated the Firewire 400 ports and now have four Firewire 800 ports for even faster transfer rates. Lightweight with great features.
This mac pro is great to keep backups and storing files. If you are a previous apple user the ease of use is great. The mac pro 2 a1186 works fast and quiet and still can be used for internet browsing.
