Fabulous product
I use this for chat on Teamspeak, so my opinion is not that of a professional sound engineer. Given that, the Samson Meteor microphone fits the proverbial bill for me, perfectly. I like the retro and unique look and it picks up my voice clearly (or so I'm told) without having to be right in front of my mouth. I have it sitting behind my keyboard, about 24" in front of me. Small, but works well
I got this mic because I needed something better than my headset to use to record YouTube videos, and because with the couple of videos that I watched for a sound test between this and the Blue Yeti, I found that they were fairly similar, but this one is cheaper. Now on to the actual review. Amazing budget mic!
This is the best budget microphone for penny pinchers. The sound quality is amazing, and I love how compact it is. Perhaps my only gripe is the fact that there's some interference noise since it is a USB mic. It's a slightly annoying hum. While it is quiet, it's still there. Small but Great
I have had this microphone for a month and I do not find myself wanting for a different mic. I have been using this mostly for gaming and using Discord Build quality: 10/10 Sound: 9.5/10 Size: compact, does not take up a ton of space on my desktop. Con: my only real gripe about this, if I had to have one is that it does suffer from a tiny bit of phone interference when listening through the headphone jack in the back, but that can be easily solved by moving the phone at least 2 feet from the mic or just plug your headphones in somewhere else.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
