This third Shrek game released for GBA has players controlling either the martial artistry of Princess Fiona or the sheer brute strength of the ogre himself, in a quest to save familiar fairy tale characters from the ghost of the devious Lord Farquaad. The game's six main areas offer branching paths, with ladders, stairs, and ropes leading to hidden areas and side rooms. In addition to the combat action, there are also puzzles to solve and power-ups to collect as the heroes make their way through the adventure. Shrek: Reekin' Havoc was designed by Tose Co., Ltd., the same Japanese studio that developed 2002's Shrek: Hassle at the Castle.
