AWESOME READ!!!
WOW!!!! This book is really good and hard to put down! Poor little Sarah who at 8 years old had horrible things done to her by wicked men and has grown up to be ice cold from the inside out. Prostitution was all she knew... but then she meets Michael who falls completely in love with her and marries her. Will she be damaged goods for life? Will she fall in love with Michael or will she run back to what she knows? God's hand is so awesome in this book. You just gotta read it. Don't be intimidated by almost 500 pages. My Favorite Book
Francine has done a phenomenal job in translating the book of Hosea in the era of the Gold Rush. This story is about redemption of a young woman who had little choices in life. The first edition of this story I think was the best. Other editions had changes that I felt left a more vanilla view. I would recommend this book as a good read for anyone but especially for those who want to understand more deeply the scriptures.
