I bought it with the complete understanding that it was likely faulty in the same way my original cluster had failed. These driver information modules (DIM) have a garbage circuit board that I intended to experiment upon once my original cluster is repaired.
Problem 1) the driver message center was intermittent and inoperative.
Problem 2) they retain the mileage of the car from which they are removed and cannot be reprogrammed so this DIM showed 205,000 miles whereas my car has 87,000.
Problem 3) the entire DIM was operating intermittently.
Problem 4) some instrument lights had failed and they are a very special bulb from Flosser of Germany. Good luck trying to get some.
Again it wasn't a total disaster but worth only the $59 I paid.
Bottom line: it should have been labelled "Parts".
