This attenuator was purchased so I could fill in the open places of my fixed attenuators. It makes finding the level of best decode of P25 signals. Once I find the value that is consistent, I will make a fixed valued from metal film resistors. I am glad I picked the range I did, 0 to 90 db so I could quickly compensate for multipath signals. Others had too little range for my purpose. This will be invaluable when I purchase a spectrum analyzer.

My only complaint would be that while the photos show a type N connector, the text says that it is available with other connector options, but does not say how you can get those options. No big deal, though. I planned on type N and bought adapters accordingly.

Another tool for the toolbag. :-). Nice to be able to vary the impedance.
