I'm a locksmith by trade...
Sourcing quality products for showcases can be difficult. Miwa no longer makes showcase locks and they were at one time the best around. They seem to have sold that portion to CR Laurence which also appears to be the same lock as Armstrong. I don't stock or deal with a supplier that sells this particular brand/style so that's why I bought it from here versus trying to go through my ordering department. With all that being said installation was a breeze. I bought these for some ikea detolf showcases to keep my 5 year old out of them. Let me be very clear about one aspect of these locks, finding a key for these at your local locksmith will be very difficult. None of our 15 locations carry a key that will work in them even with modifications. So you will need to order your blanks and take them to your local locksmith to have them cut or buy extra keys at the time of purchase if possible. I bought to locks KA/keyed alike so 4 keys should be more than I will ever need.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
