lowered noise
Playing 78's with this needle has greatly reduced the surface noise on my records vs using the 33 rpm needle. I have installed it in a separate cartridge with headshell which makes it easier to use and less likely to damage stylus.

Wanted a stylus for my growing collection of old 78s. Had a Shure M91 cartridge with a damaged stylus so I installed this stylus assembly. Works fine. Those old 78s are sounding fine. Cheers ... the vinyl guy
