Well it's weird, The game plays on one of our play stations. We have two and it want work on both of them. And yet all of our other games do. Just glad it does work on one of them after paying almost a $ 100.00 for it. We went through three others that would not work at all that we had ordered and sent back. So many are resurfacing these games and don't know what there doing. They burn them to much and there is nothing left on the disk when there done, it's just a shinning new looking disk. Be careful what you order, especially if it says or you think it's been resurfaced. Dennis ( MATTHEW 7 : 14 ) FEW !!!

When it comes to games you have no way of knowing if it works well until you play it through(which won't happen for awhile...depending on how much free time you have. I have had no probs before this purchase.

Hours upon hours have been spent crawling through dungeons, slaying hordes of enemies alongside three friends in search of epic loot and gold coin. You start the game by picking a class, each with it's own specific abilities, and you move through dungeons picking up gear and gold to better equip your character. As you level up you get skill points to modify and even add spells to your arsenal of Orc and Undead slaying abilities. Pick a class (tank, ranged or melee damage, or healer) to match your play style or group dynamic. If you ever enjoyed a game like Diablo but want a nostalgia trip you can easily enjoy with three friends then this game is for you. The graphics are definitely out of date but even by today's standards the spell effects are great. Game play is relatively linear but exactly where to get can be a little unclear at times which is what makes having three other people so helpful. Overall, 11/10 will always play again.Read full review

I love the Everquest games. They're engaging in a mindless sort of way, quick to get the hang of. I started with Champions Return to Arms, so I'm kind of spoile. There are 4 player options on both, but Return to Arms has more characters, with different and interesting abilities. I don't like the map function of Realms. It places the map in a difficult location to view, especially if you're playing more than one player. Honestly, either is worth it, but Return to Arms is better. It's more responsive and has more characters.
This was an amazing game when it came out, still is amazing. I had many fun hours with this game as a kid playing as a wizard class. If you enjoy hackandslash with rpg elements (like diablo 1 and 2) this game will not disappoint you. This game is what diablo 3 should have been. The only negative aspects of the game is the enemies fight dirty and will corner you; block your arrows until you get frost upgrade (ranger class); also the hit detection doesn't always work in your favor when fighting larger enemies like bears. Arrows and spells need precise directional input which takes awhile to get used to; the right analog camera moves a little slow for my taste; Lacks the ability to reset your skills (later diablo 2 battlenet allowed once per difficulty setting, WoW makes you pay gold in increasing amounts the more you reset your skills). However one of the coolest concepts was you could transfer your character over to the sequel (return to arms) with all the equipment and stats. Which I haven't seen since the quest for glory pc games. All in all this was a perfect game, I never played multi-player or online so I can't comment on it.Read full review
For my money this game took the hack and slash RPG formula as far as it could go for the hardware of this game's era. It offers a decent challenge curve even for experienced gamers, well balanced classes and skills for every taste and playing style,(both solo and with a team of friends), and well designed, responsive controls. The art design is fairly standard swords and sorcery fare from the look of the weapons and armors to the selection of enemies. What this game lacks in innovation it more than makes up for it in execution, however.

The games came quickly and look to be in very good to perfect condition. The game play is just as it should be. However the picture on the new HD TV's is not the greatest quality. This is not the games fault it's an older system and it was not designed for this new technology. After adjusting the picture settings and getting adjusted to the way it looks it's a great blast from the past!

The description said "tested works" which I guess was accurate because it did work to a point. Once you play the game for a little bit it would always quit working but after buying a scratch repair kit and fixing it it works fine.

Disc basically looked brand new. Game itself is very fun and addicting. Also a nice balance in difficulty. It’s challenging enough that you actually care about upgrading your character, because you need all the help you can get. Game itself is a little bit glitchy at times. Coulda used just a little more time in the oven but still happy with the end product

Humans and elves are fighting a losing battle against orcs and goblins and other bad guys in the world of EverQuest, and they need a champion to turn the tide of battle their way. As you battle your way through this fantasy world, your quests change from hunting down an orc chieftain to saving the very universe. This is a basic hack and slash RPG with a fleshed out storyline and a great replay value. The gameplay will be familiar with anyone who's played Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance or the Diablo games. In the beginning choose your form of champion from five character classes - barbarian, ranger, cleric, wizard, and shadow knight with a gender choice. You can even decide on the look of your champion, from long haired nobleman to mohawked tattoo canvas. The rest is pretty straighforward - fight your way through hordes of bad guys while completing various quests, exploring various dungeons, and buying and selling weapons and armor. Once the game is finished, you can replay it at two higher difficulty levels which gives you a nice amount of replay value. You can import your character as he was when he finished the previous level, with most of the weapons, armor, items, and cash that he had in his inventory. The menus are basic and easy to navigate Along the way you pick up a staggering amount of items, weapons, and armor (there are ten thousand randomly dropped items!), and at some point you exceed your carrying limit. The handy gate scrolls that you purchase or pick up after fights allow you to teleport back to the last store you were in to sell the items for some much needed cash. Raising your experience allows you to "spend" points on the attributes and specific skills of your choice. This game also offers multi-player capability for up to four players online. The graphics of the game are excellent, and the variety of your destinations make playing a pleasure. There are small interconnected islands surrounded by water with deep caves to explore; sky high marbled battlements in the clouds; mysterious underwater caves to explore; dark shadowy dungeons with walls that can be broken through; peaceful calm forests and grassy plains; burning fire pits with innovative transportation; blood-splashed decaying stone walls and floors; and many other intriguing scenarios. This detail applies also to your foes, from the orcs and goblins to giant spiders, huge lumbering giants, pesky bees, formidable bear-type creatures, and ghostly wraith-like mini-bosses. You have the option of zooming in during play, which allows you to see the fine detail put into every aspect of the game. The soundtrack is beautiful and well nuanced, and relates well to the present action. There were at times some noticeable bugs on both the screen and sound. These were not major, more like a mild irritant, but it did take away some of the enjoyment of the game at times. PROS: In-depth and varied gameplay with quests that increase in scope and difficulty; satisfying basic hack and slash gameplay; phenomenal graphics with exquisite attention to detail in both screen and sound; high replay value. CONS: Several screen and sound bugs that detract from game enjoyment. SUMMARY: Added together, these components make for a tremendously satisfying gaming experience that all should enjoy. You can also replay as a different fighter class and gender class. All in all, this is a great little game that any gamer should enjoy. My rating: 9/10.Read full review
