Yes and No
I would not recommend this book to a lay person. Walvoord goes into too much detail and debates other authors which is fine but unless you're a student of theology there's little use for the average person. I will keep the book more for reference then just everyday reading. So Walvoord is a good author and defends Pretribulation Rapture rather well. He gets a little dry but again, if you're studying about the Rapture this book is for you. Not the everyday layperson.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Positive, but I disagree with his conclusions.
John Walvoord was one of the top experts on Dispensationalism. I met him and liked him very much. However, I have studied the subject of the Rapture for 40 years, and have concluded it is not found in the Bible. John Walvoord is a top promoter of the Rapture Theory.
