it works, but it required some bending of some of the parts to make it fit the 668RP, so it's tough to call it a drop-in replacement. all that being said, after bending some of the stamped metal housing to accommodate the 668RP, the installation was straightforward, and the product works well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A True OEM Part
This part did exactly what it was supposed to do; it replaced a worn out fan. The supremely awesome thing about it is that it replaced an *discontinued* fan, and there were very few issues in the replacement process. Those issues are simply that rubber dampers, which are present on the original fan, had to be re-used; this replacement does not come with them, but nevertheless-- I was impressed by how well everything else fit together.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect replacement part
Remodeled in 2001 and installed new fans. Motor stopped working and rather than replace whole unit with a different size, just unplugged old motor and plugged in new one. Unfortunately, it is almost as noisy as old one, but replacing it with one having lower sones would have entailed cutting and replacing drywall in ceiling.
