Better than Home Depot
I was pleasantly surprised at how sharp these holesaw bits are. I needed it for the 2 1/2" specifically but now I can see uses for the other sizes. I used it on 6" PVC pipe I turned into a vertical gardening planter. It did the job very well and left a minimum of fringe material that had to be removed. I did that with a piece of sandpaper and it was perfect. The bit I purchased from Home Depot snapped after less than 10 minutes. These are much better in quality and cost the same as a single bit from Home Depot. The case that holds everything is compact and snaps shut securely. Great little hole saw kit!
Bought this to cut holes for flush mounting under-cabinet LED lights in my kitchen. Worked like a charm and cut holes cleanly. One tip...cut about half way on one side, and if the material is thin enough, line up the hole made by the drill on the other side and finish the cut on the other side. These came sharp out of the box and ready for Immediate use. Take it a little easier on hard woods, on soft woods just ram right through. I could have used a little more depth however I found that when drilling first from the front then, using the pilot hole for alignment, drilling from the back, the cut holes were perfectly aligned. It doesn't work well for what I need
On the description it says it works for cutting plastic, and that's the only use I needed for this product so I decided to buy it.
