    You need this

    If you have the pentax k to q adapter you need this. It attaches to the adapter so that you can mount your Q on a tripod. The Q lens mount is not strong enough for you to hold just the camera with a larger K mount lens. This gives a very stable tripod mount. I attached a Arca-Swiss plate to it to facilitate mounting on a tripod. It is inexpressive to be safe with your Q
