Incorrect programming instructions
I have an 02 Mercury Sable LS Premium. The instructions they include takes you to the website to program didn't work for me. It told me I would need 2 original keys for this to work or take it to dealership for programming. However!!! 😁 I found a YOUTUBE video that told me to put the key in the ignition and turn it off an on 8 times(Not to start the car.. but as far as you can without doing so) Once I did I was able to hit the lock and unlock buttons on both and they worked great!!! Keep in mind these instructions are for a Ford Taurus/Mercury Sable 1996-2007. Hope this might help someone else 👍 I only had the one key and that didn't matter.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great value and quality. Range could be better.
The value cannot be beat with these remotes. Sure, as other reviews have said, the button colors are lighter than the factory remote, but that don’t matter to me. The quality of materials appear to be as nice as factory. The only complaint I can think of would be the range or distance at which these work. With the batteries that came in the new remotes, I’m getting about 35’-40’ from the car before the remotes fail to lock or unlock. Not nearly the range of the factory remote, but still very acceptable. And, who knows, new batteries may increase the effectiveness. The only tell that these are not factory is the omission of the FCC boilerplate text on the back about not interfering with electrical devices. It's flat and smooth instead, which looks and feels better, and you can adhere a sticker or whatever. If it does interfere with anything or in any other way differ from stock, I haven't noticed.
