Buy OEM to be Sure
I have read that the back-pressure valve in some after-market oil filters may not meet Subaru specifications. Therefore, I prefer to buy OEM filters from Subaru dealers. It is convenient to buy on line as the nearest Subaru dealer to me is 70 miles.
