Perfect for my 2nd gen sv650S
Bought this as a replacement for my '04 Sv650S, and it was a perfect fit. Replacement is easy and took me about 30 minutes, just make sure to have an extra cotter pin for the bolt on the back of the pedal. Product looks and feels good, folds in and out easily, and works as it should. Feels nice and durable too. Good but, not perfect.
Build quality is good, and it looks great. But installing on my bike (SV650) it was slightly too wide where it mounts to the pivot pin, meaning when you push the pedal down, it would not come back up unless you pulled it up. Great product but not a perfect fit for SV650N
This brake pedal works on a SV650N but it seems to be really made for the SV650S. When this pedal is used on the naked 650 you end up with the pedal in the sport riding position. (tipped down a little more than the stock pedal) Not really a problem other than having to adjust the shift pedal to match. The last "gotcha" was having to move the brake stop light switch to the same mounting point as the 650 sport too. This pedal is missing the little bracket that would place the spring in the right location for the naked bike. (so both the return spring & the brake spring end up using the same hole)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
