Easy to install - just snaps in and you are done!
I needed a motor/fan unit to replace the one I had which was still working, but old and very dirty, therefore not drawing the volume of air it should. Item was good I just wish the motor would have been a little quieter. As far as value goes, I could have bought the whole motor and house for less at Home Depot. Being the fan was located on the first floor it made it difficult to change the motor and housing. Easy Replacement that anyone can do.
This is an easy replacement for anyone. It will take you longer to find your screw driver and to take the cover off than it will to unplug and replace the fan. The fan is a bit loud, but that is how it was years ago and my concern was not really that the fan ran quietly. It moves the air and does it's job. More than anything, it is a very easy replacement for a fan that has worn out on the homeowner and needs attention. Fits Perfectly
This replacement fits in the 8x71/4" housing perfectly. The old 20 year old fan was very noisy due to dry bearing, this fan is still loud 4.0 Sones, but much quieter than the old fan.
