In America the megaman battle network series is a bit of a hidden gem. I had heard 3 was one of the best in the series and I had played 1 and 2 on the wiiu eshop, so I got 3 (white version) to hype myself up for the battle network collection coming out next year!
The copy I received works fine and I've gotten a little ways into the game and am really enjoying it.
I highly recommend this game!
In the megaman battle network series you go around as Net Navi Megaman and Human Lan collecting battle chips (kinda like a collectable card game) to power up megaman in battle.
Net navis are basically a Tamagatchi meets a fighting game character meets siri!
In this world Net navis defend their Net op's information from computer viruses and hackers as well as helping them access their email, homework, money, ect!
I love this early 2000's take on what the internet could be like and honestly it predicted a few things.
This is definitely worth checking out if you have a gba or gba sp.
Also if you get two copies of the same game you could battle a friend using a gba link cable.
I haven't gotten to try that yet but I got both versions of battle network 3 and a cable and I'm hoping to give it a shot.
This is my favorite game of all time. I have played it through to the very end multiple times. It is like pokemon, but better; it takes some skill! If you're looking for a phenomenal single player RPG, THIS is the game to get (or blue version).
Spent $30 and got what I paid for. The game cartridge was a little scratched, but for a +15 year old game, that's to be expected. So far, everything's been working fine in my play through. When I was looking at the old save file that came with it, I did notice that any Battle Chip with a certain letter was corrupted but couldn't figure out what letter it was, but I don't seem to see it on my play through so that's good.
One of the best GBA games out there. Really fun game, and the story is compelling, if somewhat simplified for the target audience. Game mechanics are surprisingly deep, controls are crisp, and there's easily 100+ hours of gameplay, or more if you deign to complete your chip library.
